3 c. self-rising flour
12 oz beer at room temperature
1 tbsp. sugar
Combine dry ingredients. Add beer and mix to make soft dough. Turn out into a greased 8" x 4 1/2" loaf pan. Set aside for 15 minutes to rise. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until brown. This bread slices best when cold.
