| 1 c. lard | 1/2 c. sugar |
| 1 c. molasses | 1 c. sour cream |
| 1/2 tsp. salt | 1 tsp. soda mixed with a little hot water |
| 2 eggs | 1/2 tsp. caraway seed |
| 1 tsp. ginger | 1/2 tsp. cloves |
| 1/2 tsp. cinnamon | flour enough to make thick dough |
| 1 tsp. nutmeg | |
Mix, roll out, and cut cookies with cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees.
